Please Read This Important Note About DVD Compatibility

The Scraps are out of the Bag! Kelly was invited to participate in a Scrap Bag Challenge on Simply Quilts with two other quilters. All three were given 103 5" squares, and had to use them all in a quilt. If you liked Kelly’s, we’ve put together the pattern and a detailed 30 minute long DVD or VHS to show you the many really cool tricks and techniques to make your own version of this quilt.

The DVD/VHS shows every step of the appliqué process used to make the curved background blocks and inset stems. Kelly also shows fabric preparation for and how to hand appliqué the flowers and leaves. If you think the borders looks complicated – think again! They are super easy! - Glue
- Tool Set
- Appliqué dissolvable stabilizer
- Freezer Paper (available at a grocery store)
- Elmer’s washable school glue stick (available at office supply stores)
- Basic sewing supplies, including piecing thread, Mettler 50/3, and appliqué thread, Mettler 60/2, and fabric (visit your local quilt store).
